Hi, I’m Cate from Dallas, Texas, and I’m reaching out on behalf of Nada, a 16-year-old girl from Gaza whose family is facing extreme hardship. I will ensure your donations reach her family safely. Together, we can help Nada rebuild her life and give her the future she deserves.

This is Nada’s story:

Hello, I’m Nada from Gaza. I am reaching out to you with tears in my eyes and hope in my heart, asking for your support during these difficult times. Without stable shelter, food, clean drinking water, or medication, my family and I are just trying to survive day by day.

We lost our home due to the ongoing war, and we are now facing significant health and livelihood challenges. As a result, we can no longer meet our basic needs.

My family consists of 9 members:

During war, nothing stays the same, even childhood. My little siblings have lost everything. Salma, 5 years old, used to dream of kindergarten and her toys. Today, her dream is to laugh again without fear. Mohammed, 9 years old, wanted to become a doctor. The war made his dream distant, and today he carries a pain greater than his years. Hala, 13 years old, saw what no child should ever have to see. She was deprived of education, safety, and a normal childhood.

My older siblings were always our support. They were the ones who worked so that we could live with dignity. They would return at the end of the day exhausted, but their faces would be filled with contentment. They worked with honor and helped us live despite all of life’s difficulties. But the war has taken everything away, and now hope is slowly fading from their eyes. Today, they are without income, without work, and without any means to help themselves or our family. Every day that passes becomes a burden, and every minute makes them feel helpless, even though they were always strong.

My dream is to continue my studies outside Gaza so I can build a better life for myself and support my family. My future plans are to leave Gaza to find work, so I can utilize my education to support my family and improve their quality of life. I was working hard to get a job, but now I have lost everything. I want to escape this war, continue my studies, and rebuild my life so I can help my family escape and live in safety.

I now place my hope in your hands and ask for your help, so that we can escape this tragedy before it is too late. The price of survival: to leave Gaza through the border crossing to Egypt, we need between $9,000 and $10,000.

Your donations will also provide:

Even the smallest donation can make a huge difference in our lives. Sharing my story with your friends and family is also a powerful way to help. Your support can change our lives and give us a glimmer of hope during this difficult time. We are not numbers; we are souls who deserve to live. Help us restore a small part of our dignity. Let our voices be heard and bring light to their hearts.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity.

About a week ago, Nada shared with me that the building next to her family’s home was bombed while they were sleeping. They are lucky to be alive. They heard people screaming, so they got up in a panic and went down to the street to help evacuate the area. Rubble started falling on Nada, and she fell to the ground. She suffered minor injuries to her legs, hands, and stomach, and she has had trouble sleeping due to the pain from the bruises.

Nada’s father also had to have an operation recently on the cartilage in his joints due to missile fragments in his body.

Despite these traumatic events, thanks to all of your donations, Nada’s family was able to use the money they received from this campaign to buy food – flour and pasta. However, as you probably have heard, food is astronomically expensive in Gaza. The family still relies on donations to survive, so any amount you can donate is sincerely appreciated. Please also continue to share this campaign with your friends and family.

Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness.

It is still urgent that we raise money for Nada and her family. If you are able to donate, it would be deeply appreciated. If not, then please share Nada’s campaign with your friends and family. She gave me this update to share:

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your support and support. You can’t imagine how much you’ve helped me, and how much your support has made a difference. I was able to buy the medicine I needed, I was able to provide food for me and my family, and for the first time in a long time, I felt safe and warm thanks to your generosity. Your donations are more than just help, they’re actually saving my life, enabling me to continue and face the circumstances around us. Your presence in my life has become hope.

You have become the reason I can breathe and feel safe. I am grateful to you from the bottom of my heart, and my feelings towards you are not just thanks, they are love and sincere prayers at every moment. Your support was not simple, you truly changed a part of my life, and made me feel that I am not alone. I hope you will stay with me and continue with your support, because I still need to stand on my own two feet and complete the path. Your presence by my side has given me hope again, and without you I would not have been able to reach this point. May God reward you with all the best.
